Accountability and Justice
The overarching objective of the Accountability and Justice programme is to enhance the capacity of justice institutions (such as the police and its oversight bodies) in delivering services to the people (especially vulnerable groups such as women, children and the poor) and making their processes and procedures accessible to the people.

The primary objective of the Public Safety and Security programme is to build partnership between the police and local communities in crime prevention and infusing community concerns in the determination of law enforcement and security priorities. Reserach and Planning
The overriding objective of the Research and Planning programme is to provide and promote the use of empirical and quantitative data in the formulation of crime prevention, public safety and security policies, as well as in the evaluation of the impact of those policies. The programme will encompass the following projects:
